Animation! This was awesome!

 This week was very exciting! I have been really busy at school recently. Veterans Day just passed and I'm the Vice President of the Student Veteran Organization so I had a lot of responsibilities these last couple of weeks. I had to give a Veterans Day speech for school and help coordinate a Veterans Day lunch in with our group members along with marching the in the Veterans Day parade. It's been really fun! My digital design class has been really interesting as well. This week we worked on animation and created a GIF for class. I decided to go with a zombie walking the streets. I added sounds like feet shuffling and cars passing by along with a zombie sound for added effects but I don't think you can hear it. Anyways I posted the GIF here is you guys want to see it! I think I'm going to keep practicing I really enjoyed the project and now that I got the hang of it, I think I can do much better with another attempt.

For class, we also had a tour of Disney animation. I remember watching Disney cartoons as a child and wanting to become an animator. I still think about it from time to time but truth be told I think I much rather be a special effects artist. The question was raised this week asking what our dream job would be. It couldn't have come at a better time. I'm debating on what classes I should take next. If I should continue down the road to becoming an artist or look for a safer position. The more I think about it the more I see myself working in art but have the fear of what might come next if anything at all. I don't know, this week's class has given me much to think about.
