Adobe Capture, The future is here!

This week I was challenged to use the Adobe Capture App on my mobile device. All I have to say is wow! This thing is amazing! You can snap a picture of anything and get a color palate that you can use across all your adobe creative cloud platforms! Honestly, I think the coolest thing about this app is that you can take a picture of a brush or pen and make a digital copy of it for photoshop! I took a picture of one of my paint brushes and it actually worked. It's awesome that technology has evolved this far and that I'm alive to see it. This technology would have definitely been more useful when I was first learning photoshop. I'm really excited to see what they come up with next. This week was a little difficult for me in terms of attention span but thankfully I got my work done. We did a digital museum again for class, and I really enjoy those. This seemed more politically driven than usual but I don't mind it. I quite enjoy politics and think that everyone should be aware of our history in order to better understand ourselves, our economic and social state, and that of others. This week's topic was on Rafael Lozano-Hemmer's Border Tuner / Sintonizador Fronterizo. They had also sorts of awesome displays that connect people from the U.S. and Mexican border. There was one in particular that I really liked. It basically linked people's heartbeats together and sends vibrations across stations so either person on the receiving end can feel it. It really got me thinking about the human connection and how feeling someone's heartbeat can make create a bond between two people. I wonder if there was an emotional connection they felt even if it was just for a moment.

I started working on more video editing which I find very enjoyable. It got me wondering about making movie commercials. I wonder what you would have to do to get into that field of work. I'm assuming you would need a video editing degree. That sounds like a lot of fun. I'm getting the hand of the Adobe Rush application so I might start making videos for fun. I'm really beginning to like this school thing.

Here's the link to my Adobe Capture Video if you wanna check it out!
