More Digital Projects!
Yes! Finally some digital artwork! This week I learned how to use Illustrator and it was awesome! This legit is a game-changer! I have been working on a comic for a bit, which makes the process waaaaay easier. The ability to turn regular images into vector images was my favorite thing about the program. The painting process is pretty straightforward once I got the hang of it. I worked on a drawing that I had on my tablet for a long time using Autodesk sketch and made huge improvements. The experience I'm getting from Illustrator I really wish I had a long time ago but better late than never!
I also go to work on a digital drawing of a 20-dollar bill. That was really cool. I think this project really consumed me I even made an extra one with more detail in photoshop for fun. When I was working on the bill I tried to think of things that would be representative of Harriet Tubman and of course make it look like it could have the potential to be a real bill someday. I was really happy with the results. I transferred the image to illustrator to create it into a vector image as well and let me tell you it was anchor city! hahaha for that little moment I regretted my decision to do that but it really made me realize the potential that the program has. I'm really excited to see the new projects we're going to be working on, and even more, excited to see what I'm going to keep learning with these tools.
This is the Harriet Tubman 20-dollar bill project I was really into!
And this is another work in progress using Illustrator! This is my brother charlie as a superhero!
