Comics!

 This week we had to create a comic book for class. Well, it was any kind of book but I wanted to make a comic book. My story is about a zombie movie buff named Charlie. You can see little things that point this out like a zombie sticker on his car or a zombie bobblehead. Charlie is driving down a dark lonely road when he comes when suddenly hits something on the road. He crashes his car and is knocked out. He wakes up in the woods not knowing how he got there as he's walking through the trees he sees what looks like a man eating another man. It's a Zombie! The Zombie turns to chase him and Charlie runs scared. Then he stops and says "wait I've seen this movie" and then turns around to defeat him and escapes!

I first drew the scenes out on my sketch pad. Then I photographed them and uploaded them into Adobe creative cloud and AI. I basically traced them. I could have done the ink work on my sketchpad and just used the filter settings to create a vector image but the inking seemed like more time. I did try to tweak it in photoshop but I rather enjoyed the line work being made on my screen.
The project was really fun and working with Illustrator and InDesign was great! I love doing these kinds of drawings and illustrations ever since I was a kid really. I hope we keep making projects like these in the future!
